Buskers

Some buskers featured in the film -

Senior citizen dance king Roland Chua Kim Seng used to perform with great vitality outside Tampines MRT, at Ang Mo Kio central and occasionally at Clarke Quay. He passed away peacefully in 2026.

Like Roy and others, Castello started busking at the Lido underpass in the early 90s.

Uncle Mas, a local busking pioneer, plays the saxophone, keyboard and sings. He used to perform outside Tampines MRT, occasionally with his son and daughter. He has since passed away peacefully.

Robert busks outside Tampines MRT with his deep, enchanting baritone voice.

Mr Ow, who used to be a rag-and-bone man, performed his age-defying bead act outside Ngee Ann City along Orchard Road. He passed away peacefully a few years ago.

Tony, an accomplished musician, dances with his erhu at Ang Mo Kio Central and at the Lucky Plaza underpass.

Godfrey, a once familiar face of the Wheelock and Lido underpasses, busks at Clarke Quay.

Buskers from Japan used to ply their trade with a contact juggling and movement act at Orchard Road and Ang Mo Kio central come the festive season.
